Project terms · 8 November 2026

A project is a separate agreement.

These notes describe how we treat project work. They are draft operational terms, not a signed contract and not legal advice. Fees, deposits, and deadlines are not published here because they are not fixed.

Scope

A project starts when Arove and the client agree a written proposal. The form on this site is only a request. It does not create that agreement.

The proposal is where scope lives: pages, languages, revisions, timing, and what is left out. If it is not in the proposal, it is not part of the work.

Client material

The client is responsible for the text, marks, images, and other material they supply, and for having the rights to let us use that material for the project. We may rely on that and may pause if a right is unclear.

Deliverables

Ownership and license of the agreed deliverables are defined in the project contract. Until that contract says otherwise, agreeing a proposal is what transfers the rights it names.

Our pre-existing tools, methods, and the concept studies on this website stay ours. They are not client work and are not assigned by these web pages.

Revisions, third-party costs, and cancellation

How many revisions are included, who pays third-party costs, and what happens if either side stops are agreed in the project contract. Third-party costs can include hosting, a domain, type licenses, photography, or advertising. This page does not set those amounts or a cancellation fee.

We do not invent a deposit or a refund rule here. If a contract is silent, we will agree the gap in writing before relying on it. We will not treat silence on this website as a charge.

Outcomes

We do not promise a conversion rate, a search ranking, revenue, or any other commercial result. The work is the site described in the proposal.

If something goes wrong

Liability for a project is the liability agreed in that contract, read with the law that applies to it. We do not use this page to waive rights that cannot be waived, and we do not cap project liability at a number, because no number has been supplied.

Questions about a live or proposed project can be sent through the project form. Start the summary with “Project terms”. There is no separate legal mailbox.
